Netflix to do a show with Kareena where she will play a character similar to Poo
MUMBAI: Poo is Kareena Kapoor Khan’s one of the most celebrated characters till date. The film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham released in 2001 and even after 17 years, the character is still fresh in the minds of the audiences.
Kareena played the ‘pretty, hot and tempting’ Pooja in the film, and her glamorous avatar, sassy attitude and designer outfits were loved by fans. Even today, the fans obsess over that character and Kareena is still called by the name Poo. Directed by Karan Johar, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan, but Kareena stood her own in the film.
Almost after two decades, Netflix, as per some media reports, is planning a show around a character that is inspired by Poo. The central protagonist will be 35 years old. Kareena is reportedly excited at the prospect of this project.
According to media reports, Kareena is in talks with Netflix and she has loved the script of the show.
Bebo is excited to return as the 35-year-old Poo with some new flavours of drama added to it. Saif is already doing a Netflix show, and now Kareena will also be a part of the content on the digital medium.
