PromoReview: ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ just proves that it is COMPLETELY different from ‘Ishqbaaaz’!
Witness Kunal Jaisingh and Shrenu Parikh like never before.
The much-awaited and much talked about first ever spin-off in Indian TV history, ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ is just a few days away from D-Day and the excitement keeps on increasing.
While, the first promo of the show was fairly vague and only showcased glimpses of what to expect from the show, here is the latest promo of ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ which gives a complete idea of the show and how it’s going to be completely different from ‘Ishqbaaaz.’
The promo begins with Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh aka Omkara making an entry in absolutely filmy style, where he gets out of the car and has several camera angles to showcase the swagger. This is exactly when Omkara mouths some words, which is nothing but ‘Vintage Omkara.’ He believes that Love is that Deal, where one only receives Pain in return. And Omkara is not a purchaser of Pain.
Then we are introduced to the NEWEST character in the ‘Ishqbaaaz-Dil Bole Oberoi’ family, actress, Shrenu Parikh aka Gauri. A chirpy and fun-loving girl, she lives life to the fullest and believes that Love is world’s biggest form of worship and Gauri Sharma will worship it with complete conviction.
Needless to say almost that, Kunal looks absolutely dashing and with the show centering on him primarily, it is an absolute treat.
hrenu Parikh as Gauri manages to impress with her bubbly avatar and her villager accent. Several people had their apprehensions about Kunal and Shrenu’s pairing, but this promo certainly grabs attention and you feel that this may as well be a good pair to look forward to.
The background score of the promo is to die for. (You may already start searching for it on the internet after hearing it.) With a rocking tune and amazing dub step, the music score adds that extra bit of ‘wow’ factor.
The Verdict
The best part about this promo is the soothing relief that ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ will indeed be completely different than ‘Ishqbaaaz.’ Many viewers stay confused with the idea of a ‘spin-off’, but this promo is just a reminder that the audience will be watching different stories at 10 pm and 10:30 pm, which is great.
